The members of the Derrinsallow Shooting syndicate once again very kindly invited the Club back to the wonderful surroundings of Birr Castle Demesne, Co.Offaly for our Open Stake on Wednesday 27th November.
Steward of the Beat for the trial was John Keeshan who did a great job to keep the trial flowing and kept us in a constant supply of game.
Our team of Guns for the day were Joe Bergin, Laurence Hennessy, David O’Brien & Noel Tomlinson who all put on an excellent display of marksmanship.
Our good friends at Massbrook Petfoods once again very kindly sponsored the event.
Our Judges for the day were Mick Walsh(A), Tony O’Brien (B) and Willie White (C).
This was an excellent trial with all dogs giving a great account of themselves with 1st and 2nd being split on the books by the Judges and the winner becoming a F.T.Ch.
