The Club was once again invited to the beautiful setting of Birr Castle Demesne, Co.Offaly. By very kind permission of the members of the Derrinsallow Shooting syndicate. Steward of the Beat for the trial was Tony O’Brien whose vast knowledge of the ground kept us in a constant supply of game which was dealt with by a team of very safe and accurate Guns.
The trial was once again very kindly sponsored by Massbrook Petfoods.

Our Judges for the day were Mick Walsh(A), John Keeshan(B) and Richie Power (C).
After the Judges made up their books, four dogs were called for a run off

The winner received the Denis Flannery Memorial Cup.
