This Novice Stake was held on Thursday 17^th November 2011 on Ilaunmore by kind permission of Mr.Michael Manke.  Judges for the day were Pat Brennan (A), John Keeshan (B) and Richie Power (C). The Steward of the Beat was Vincent Kyne who started us in game crop at the beginning of the day. But due to the day being one of the wettest and windiest of the year the birds all appeared to be in the shelter of the shoreline. This trial was well supported with us having 15 dogs on the card before the day commenced. The Guns on the day all shot accurately and safely for the day. We were yet again kindly sponsored by Jon Binley and Massbrook Petfood. The winner was presented with the “Open Season” Perpetual Shield. The Club would like to thank everybody who helped out on the day.
