This Open Stake was held on January 2^nd 2011 on Ilaunmore by kind permission of Mr.Michael Manke.  Judges for the day were Mr. Tim Dennehy (A), Mr. Damien Kelly (A) and Mr.Jon Binley ( C) The Steward of the Beat was Mr. Vincent Kyne who steered everything in the right direction and got us safely around the Island. This was a very well supported trial with a lot of the dogs having just had a break of a day since the Championship. This was a very different type of trial for the island as the game wasn’t being produced by the dogs in the same amounts as we have come accustomed to and the runs became a lot more testing for the dogs. The guns were yet again extremely safe and accurate The trial was once more kindly sponsored by Massbrook. Petfoods. The winner was presented with the North Tipp. Working Gundog Club Perpetual Cup and the Guns Award.
